You make every consultation feel really good.

You have daily contact with people, advise customers and sell Swiss Post’s services and products, from finances to parcels and insurance. At the counter, in the shop and in the back office, you keep an overview and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

To ensure you get off to a good start with us, you should ideally have the following skills and experience:

Before you get started, you'll need certain skills and experience to help you to get the job done. This also means that you have successfully completed your upper or middle secondary school.

You like to be in contact with people.

You enjoy talking to others, advising people and making their day a little easier.

You work at your best as part of the team.

You enjoy working with others, are good at communicating and say what you mean.

You’re interested in numbers and data.

When others are already groaning at the arithmetic, you stay cool. You find mistakes quickly and create order from chaos.

You are reliable and enjoy learning new things.

People can rely on you. You handle all information confidentially and enjoy learning new things.

Training and vocational school:

The training lasts three years and starts directly with practical training. As early as the first year of the apprenticeship, you will get to know the branch from A to Z and will be in contact with customers right from the start. You will gain experience, take on responsibility and quickly realize how important your job is in everyday life. From the second year of the apprenticeship, things will get even more exciting: you will have the opportunity to take part in a language study programme or another placement. This will allow you to improve your skills, discover new things and surpass yourself. And best of all: no matter where you live, you can start your journey towards a versatile and meaningful apprenticeship right away.

And after your apprenticeship?

Bachelor or Master

For example, in business and management, if you want to study and pursue a career.
