The specialists in customer dialogue are very important, because they are the first point of contact for customers. Whether you’re on the phone or using modern communication systems: the questions come to you first. To ensure you get off to a good start with us, you should ideally have the following skills and experience:

Before you get started, you'll need certain skills and experience to help you to get the job done. This also means that you have successfully completed middle or upper secondary school.

You like to be in contact with people.

You enjoy talking to others, advising people and making their day a little easier.

You have good grades in French and English.

You want to learn languages and are good at this. French is particularly important to us, but you will also come into contact with English from time to time.

You are independent and take on responsibility.

You can take on responsibility and also work independently.

You are reliable and enjoy learning new things.

People can rely on you. You handle all information confidentially and enjoy learning new things.

Training and vocational school:

Your apprenticeship lasts three years. During this time, you will get to know the Contact Center from the ground up. You will see how the job works and which skills are required and get to know your unit’s products and services well. Your language skills will improve every day and your self-confidence will grow. You’ll develop professional communication skills step by step. You’ll acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge at a vocational school as well as on intercorporate and internal courses: practice and expertise go hand in hand. You can do your apprenticeship at various locations: in Fribourg, Kriens, Schaffhausen, Visp or at the PostFinance Contact Center in Biel.

And after your apprenticeship?

After your apprenticeship, there are many ways to further your education, with or without a vocational school-leaving certificate:

Diploma

You can obtain a diploma or higher vocational qualification, such as Contact Center Supervisor or a diploma as Head of Communication.

Higher technical school

For example, higher technical school qualification as a marketing manager so that you can delve even deeper into exciting tasks.

Bachelor or Master

For example, in business and management, if you want to study and pursue a career.
