You turn ideas into visions.

You help us create the Swiss Post of tomorrow.

First impressions count. That’s why it’s important for your application to be persuasive and give a good picture of who you are. We’ve put together a few things that you should keep in mind. You’ll then be ready to apply to us. Incidentally: you don’t need to write a cover letter. When you submit your application to us, you will answer three questions. You can outline your motivation in your answers.

Application documents

Apply online for your chosen career. For your application, you’ll need:

  • A CV
  • A colour photo of yourself
  • Your school reports from the last four semesters
  • Only if you have them: taster apprenticeship evaluations, employment references or employment certificates, the results of the aptitude assessment (e.g. Multicheck®Basic Check, etc.)
Document layout

In addition to the content, the appearance of your documents also counts. What you should watch out for:

  • Give your documents a clear and uncluttered layout so that everything can be found immediately.
  • Check that everything you need is included and that the spelling is correct.
  • Let someone look over it before you send it off.
Interview tips

Your application was impressive, and you’re invited to an interview at Swiss Post. During the interview, we’ll get to know each other better, and you can find out whether or not an apprenticeship at Swiss Post is the right option for you. Here are a few tips to help make your interview a success.

Before the interview

  • Find out about Swiss Post on our website.
  • Think about which questions you’d like to ask about Swiss Post and your career path.
  • Make a note of the time and place of the interview, and look up the directions.
  • Write down the name of the person who’ll be interviewing you.
  • Be on time – or better still: get there five minutes early.
  • Make sure your appearance is clean and well-groomed.
  • Think about what questions you might be asked and how you’d like to answer. For example: what are your reasons for applying for an apprenticeship at Swiss Post? What abilities do you have to offer? What are your hobbies?

During the interview

  • Greet and say goodbye to your interview partner by name.
  • Just be yourself – we want to find out who you are.
  • Maintain eye contact, listen carefully and allow the interviewer to finish speaking.
  • Think of specific examples and situations that highlight your abilities.
  • Ask the questions you have prepared; if you don’t understand something in the interview, calmly ask.
  • At the end of the interview, ask what happens next.

Sanuja, Florin and Saskia will show you how.

In this video, we’ll show you what matters most. Apply online for your dream job – if you follow these tips, you’re already halfway there!
